We took Aven skiing for her very first time at Alta. Believe it or not these pictures were taken on April 6th. When we left our house it was 55 degrees and partly sunny. Apparently Alta didn't get the memo that it's spring because it was 32 degrees and blizzard conditions. Despite the weather her first ski day was a positive experience. Ian's perspective on teaching Aven to ski: "Trying to teach her how to ski is hard." Aven's perspective on having Ian as a ski instructor: "I need a real skiing teacher, Mom." Aven was scared of the rope tow, but whenever they were skiing downhill she just kept saying "I'm having fun, I'm having fun!"- mission accomplished.
