All those dead branches can be annoying for the home owner and neighbors, so it's good that you got it removed. Your tree removal story tops mine! I'm glad you got a photo of it.... and really glad you got it removed!

Your new house is so darn cute. Someday I hope we can live in a house without a prominent garage face like yours.... :)Sarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15943117188089284203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2692580709809425727.post-57800447130200932122011-08-18T11:49:01.634-07:002011-08-18T11:49:01.634-07:00One more thing, you have a very nice neighbor. One more thing, you have a very nice neighbor.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16852622216574123959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2692580709809425727.post-59150497039913649102011-08-18T11:48:07.873-07:002011-08-18T11:48:07.873-07:00Congratulations! We have them lining the fence of our townhouse's "backyard," and I would love to get rid of them (if I get the chance, I will call Discount Tree).

Sure they provide shade and look lovely from afar, but they are full of dead branches and fill our rain gutters with crap.

You may have to poison it more than once. Piss elms are resilient.

And thanks for your comments about the Internet etc. So many opinions and "facts." I am going to try to rely on common sense more often. :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16852622216574123959noreply@blogger.com
